Pool Photography

Image
I have never mentioned this, but I love photography. Since my cousins are in town, we have been going to the pool a lot so I decided to bring my love of photography to the pool. Here are some ideas for if you want to use your camera at the pool!  This mermaid-style picture is super cute and looks really cool!    One of my tips is if you have younger siblings or cousins, you should capture them having fun! You don't have to make them pose to get cute pictures, you can just let them be themselves! If you want an amazing picture of yourself but don't want to make someone take it for you, my trick is to put your camera on the video recording mode and let it record you. Then you can just screenshot the part of the video that you want and boom, you've got yourself a picture. This picture idea was found on the marvelous Pinterest. It looks like I am sitting against a wall of water! In reality, I am holding myself with my legs on the pool deck

πŸ‹ Lemon Hand Pies πŸ‹

Image
Hey guys! Today we are back to baking. After finally getting the film for my camera, I took a couple pictures and they turned out pretty cool if I do say so myself. Anyways, we will be making... (πŸ₯ drumroll please  πŸ₯ ) Lemon Hand Pies!   Now, you might be saying "Lemon what now?" Lemon hand pies are these super cute little pies that are kind of like empanadas. Still don't get me? Here they are.   Don't they look soooo yummy?! They are actually pretty easy to make. Ok, now that you have seen them, you are probably dying for the recipe for these bad boys. Here you go!   First you need some pie crust. You can make your own, or use store bought like I am guilty of. Preheat the oven to 375 and cut the pie crust into little circles like this.   Take your lemon filling (I used  this recipe from justapinch.com  ) and scoop a little tiny bit into the pie crust. Make sure you do not use too much or your hand pie will look like this:   Gross right?

πŸ‘£Brother Games 2πŸ‘£

And we're back for Brother Games episode two. Today we shoved 8 socks on our feet (they were really tight) and recorded this video. It was really fun, but let me tell you, when I first got those socks on, it felt really weird. My foot looked like it was swollen, but that's what wearing eight socks on one foot can do to you I guess. 😬

Bottle Flip Challenge

So, we were bored and decided to start a little something called the Brother Games. Our First Challenge is a bottle flipchallenge. This was so fun! Idea from https://www.deverauxgallagher.blogspot.com

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes!

Hey! I love baking, and I wanted to share this yummy recipe with you! Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners. In a bowl mix the flour, sugar and baking powder. Slowly add the butter and continue mixing until it resembles coarse sand. With the mixer on medium speed add the eggs, water, and vanilla. Whip it for 3 minutes or until the mixture is shiny. Add the peanut butter and mix it in. Distribute the batter in the 12 cupcake liners. Bake for 15/20 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven and from the pan and let them cool until they are no longer hot to the touch.                                                For the chocolate frostin
